In line with the strategy of the Aqaba Development Corporation aimed at upgrading the tourism service system and enhancing the efficiency of the vital facilities in the city, and in coordination with Aqaba Airports Company, the operator of King Hussein International Airport, the Aqaba Development Corporation has launched the guidance and assistance service “At Your Service” inside the airport facilities, in a distinguished initiative that enhances the traveler’s experience and presents an advanced model reflecting the civilized image of Aqaba as a growing tourism and investment destination.

Commenting on this service, Hussein Al-Safadi, CEO of the Aqaba Development Corporation, confirmed that the launch of the “At Your Service” program comes as part of the company’s efforts to enhance the quality of services and raise the efficiency of passenger services at King Hussein International Airport, considering it a distinguished initiative that contributes to improving the level of service provided to visitors and facilitating their arrival and departure procedures.
Al-Safadi pointed out that the team was selected according to precise professional criteria to represent Aqaba honorably and reflect the values of Jordanians and their civilized behavior in dealing with visitors, reaffirming the level of genuine Jordanian hospitality.
Al-Safadi explained that the service is not limited to guidance and assistance inside the airport, but also provides visitors with integrated tourism information about activities, events, and various sites in Aqaba through electronic linkage via QR code, supporting the company’s efforts to expand tourism awareness and introduce visitors to the city’s diverse experiences.
He clarified that the initiative comes within a package of developmental services and projects the company is working to implement to support tourism and economic growth in Aqaba, emphasizing that the company continues to implement its strategic vision to enhance Aqaba’s position as a regional tourism, investment, and logistics hub by investing in youth potential, developing infrastructure, and boosting the efficiency of vital services, especially at King Hussein International Airport.
Al-Safadi stressed that the Aqaba Development Corporation will continue working according to a clear methodology based on the Royal directives, focusing on sustainability, innovation, and enhancing service competitiveness to achieve national goals and provide an integrated environment that serves travelers, investors, and the local community.

The launch of the service came as part of a well-studied operational plan in cooperation with a specialized company providing the “At Your Service” service through a qualified team selected from the local community after undergoing intensive training programs. Their services cover the schedule of regular and charter flights to provide a comprehensive travel experience that strengthens Aqaba’s position as a main gateway for receiving visitors from various regional and international markets.
The team includes engineers from different specialties, a doctor and nurses, as well as experts in tourism, hospitality, and languages, capable of communicating in six world languages, reflecting a high level of professionalism and embodying the spirit of genuine Jordanian hospitality.
The service includes welcoming travelers, guiding them through all stages of travel inside the airport, and providing information related to logistical procedures and available services, in addition to comprehensive tourism guidance about Aqaba’s landmarks and nearby sites such as Petra and Wadi Rum.
The QR Code on the team’s uniform provides direct access to the (visitaqaba.com) platform belonging to the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, where users can explore guides to activities, archaeological sites, entertainment experiences, shopping, and services. The service also offers special support for the elderly and people with disabilities to ensure easy mobility and smooth movement inside the airport.
